My new social media addiction.

Needless to say, I'm just a little obsessed with social media. I'm always trying to find new social networking sites. A month or two ago, I joined Pinterest, unaware of how addictive it would be later on. It's kinda like Tumblr in the sense that pictures are mainly posted, but I admire the different organization of the website and the fact that it is NOT in blog format. Essentially, it's a virtual pinboard where you pin images in neat piles. Organization: I needed that change.

So far, it's only an invite-only website. It's a booming site and is sooo much fun! Not only is there much fashion, but there's wonderful photography, DIY ideas, humorous images, and food porn.

It's been one month.

So much has happened!

I apologize to my dedicated readers; I have been preoccupied lately and have not been updating á la jode recently. So much has happened and I will without a doubt fill you guys in.


In a span of one month, I have experienced so much and have connected with fashion in so many ways. I am in NYC as I type for the first time and I have absolutely fell in love with this fashion-forward busy city life. It's perfect for me and is such a contrast to where I'm from (Calabasas/Agoura Hills). More on that later.


In a summary, I had my fashion show for my Teen Vogue and O'Neill Generation Next 2011 competition. Unfortunately I did not win, but everything that was in my power went PERFECTLY perfect. I'll be posting pics and details on that too.

I encourage you guys to check it out. I am currently watching Max Azria's BCBG. INCREDIBLE SHOW. Tons of color blocking and tribal like prints and striped. Obsessed.
